The Eurasian United Workers Union is a string of labor unions established by prominent pre-uprising loyalist and both workers' and citizens' rights activity, one, Mr. Tabata Yukio, who had founded the first independent work Union in Japan under some backing by prominent loyalist groups such as the Kobayashi, he has now seemingly strung together his first, along with another in London, before it's fall, and another in City 24, or Switzerland.

These Unions fought for increased rations, legalization of recreational drugs, better selection of paste and drink, among other things like breaks during workshifts, safer and healthier conditions - this was, of course, before the Uprising took place in a great many of the cities, bringing the Union to collapse in some regions of the world.

In City Eight, the original Union apparently perished in a failed riot, in London, the Workers Union now works for the occupying Rebels of London as settlers and workers on their new civilization born anew in the ashes of Combine living - with this, one group is left.

The home base of himself, Tabata Yukio, in Switzerland, still a Union occupied city. Pressured by the effects of warfare in and out of the city, they have become just as much a vigilante group and militia dedicated to their fellow citizen, as they are workers - the fear of the rebels is present for them, just as much as punishment from the Union, thus they operate on their own, trying to make the best of the situation. Some could say they've become nothing more than gangsters.

It certainly isn't easy living. But these men make due - what's left of the honest worker, the kindly image of a model citizen, honest through it all. Or, trying to be.

Political Students have poured into Geneva as of recent, one of the last withstanding cities - the bastions of loyalists and average citizenry "devoted" to their "fair" politicians have either voluntarily or been coerced onto trains and made refugees here. Some such ideologies among them have begun influencing the workers of Geneva before, such as the less savory, and no more adored communists - those coming through from Kiev, fueled by the ongoing power struggle for Earth between Union and Rebel forces. However, due to the brewing ideas of revolt among the poor working class in the city - many of these boys trying to bring men to arms have already been detained and killed. Each day revolt seems more of a frivolous idea. Yet, they are a prideful group, it shall be their death, as the Communists may most certainly all perish for some small ounce of bravery to go unsung. Suicidal.

Another body of refugees have come from the reaches of old America and it's backed countries, these refugees are primarily Koreans, with ties to the Chaebol - however, while often more outspoken, they are criticized by the poor class for their ideas and adoration to capitalism and the like, and, also, that none of them are "real men", all the real Chaebol died fighting for their country. All that's left is the offspring they so faithfully fought to avoid putting into war, now are mere slummers and homeless philosophers, professing allegiance to a people they never even knew - with no stomach to fight for it. Empty words. They're thugs trying to replicate somebody honorable. A few Kobayashi fall in their ranks too. None know the true meaning of honor though.

The final body of political thinking among the student refugees who've fell in with Union work are known for loyalties and devotion to their benefactors, everyone has some kind of grudge with the rebels. Descended from Volunteers coming out of Japan and the Corps' that took place, many are merely begrudged veterans of the State who fought their wars and the like and continue too, at least, by word of mouth, attempts to unite workers. Futurists, they enjoy the idea of progression of the world - even under the totalitarian new world order. It's humanity's greatest step forward.​
