NEBULOUS.CLOUD POKEMON SHOWDOWN TOURNAMENT
After seeing in the Fast Threads that a lot of people are interested in Pokemon I thought it would be fun to make a Pokemon Tournament using Pokemon Showdown.
The tournament will be Singles OU format using Smogon ruleset.
What is Pokemon Showdown?
Pokemon Showdown is a pokemon battle simulator where a person does not need to catch or raise their pokemon. They choose the pokemon they want to use, the moveset, ability, Items, and EVs/IVs. Then they can battle other players!
Showdown is browser based, but a client can be downloaded.
You may also invite others to spectate matches and even save replays!
What is Smogon?
Smogon Ruleset is a competitive list of rules for the different formats of battling. It restricts certain aspects of Pokemon that are too easily abusable - these are called “Smogon-Wide Clauses”.
How will this Tournament work?
This tournament will be a OU Singles double elimination tournament. Each player will be placed in a bracket. All matches until Quarters are Bo3. Quarters and Grand Finals are Bo5.
Bracket
At the end of all matches each player will notify the TO and each will individually submit the same replay of the matches they have played.
Any player who fails to submit a replay is subject to disqualification.
Teams
All Pokemon Teams must abide by Single OU Smogon ruleset. A player may have 2 teams to play with. All teams must be reported and exported to the TO before the Start of Tournament.
At no point after the start of the Tournament can any aspect of the team be changed (other than order of listing).
Streaming
The first several matches as well as all of Semi-Finals and further will be streamed live on my Twitch.Tv Channel (to be announced). A player may deny streaming of their match if they so wish.
Replays
All match replays will be linked in this thread.
WINNINGS
1st place winner: A choice of game $15 or less.
2nd place winner:A choice of game $10 or less.
3rd place winner: A choice of game $5 or less.

Sign up below. All Pokemon Teams must be submitted to me via PM before the day of the tournament. The teams must be exported directly from Pokemon Showdown's Team Builder!
