Eternal Crusade servers have shut down.

On this day, September the 10th, Eternal Crusade servers have closed permanently. If you try to open up the game, it just shows this message with clicking OK shutting down the program.

Rest in peace, EC. You were... well, never a properly good game, but I'll have fond memories of you.

I used to be very hyped for this game, back when I loved Planetside 2, but recognized its (at the time) lack of development.

TLDR: overexcited devs promising wildly unrealistic things, then failing to deliver.
