Eve online is a mass space faring game where really about everything in the game is controlled by its player base. Ranging from its markets to even getting a chance to directly influence the future development of the game.

[Introduction]
In EVE you start as a recruit, a survivor of a disaster and must escape the area before you yourself are listed into it's fatality rate. Where the actions that follow from these events allow you to become a capsuleer. A pilot who will have access to practically everything if willing to take the work and dedication.

[Lore]
EVE is in a whole distant and seperated part of space as the Eve gate, a wormhole that branched once connected to the solar system to new worlds and uncharted space, giving and branching the development of future colonies. But after time the Eve gate collapsed. Leaving earth in its state of collapsing shambles and those in New Eden. The massive cluster of systems and galaxies to reside on their own. These events led to the fall and death of meany colonies and lives. But four factions managed to stay above and continue the race of humanity.

[Factions]

Minmatar:
Race that had rebelled and escaped the slavery of the Amarr empire. Weaponry focuses on ballistics. Being also the only one to use them.

Amarr: The largest of the main empires as a patch work of feudal-like provinces controlled by a single emperor while religion played largely in their politics. Most work had also done with slave labor. Using energy weapons with a selection of crystals to impact shields and other damage in a variety of ways.

Caldari: The Caldari state is ruled by mega-corporations without and form of centralized government. Those living in the state are always in competition with another with fierce aggression and loyalty. But their work for combat tends to primarily be the one they enjoy most, Missles, rockets anything that simply just explodes.

Gallente: The Gallente Federation is the only form of actual government of New Eden. Focusing on democracy along with the only faction to welcome immigrants with open arms. Primarily using drones or hybrid weaponry for combat.

[Combat playout/ships]
Eve Onlines combat works in a expansive form of ways each faction having resistances and different damage types along with a assortment of equipment to even/better the odds of winning. Middles primarily do explosive damage but can change its damage type by swapping out its ammunition types. As others such as ballistic, hybrid turrets use more conventional means such as thermal and impact but can also change if using drones or ship sizes. Ships also work effectively on size. How a frigate can easily avoid the cannon fire of a dreadnought but can also be easily put down if the shot hits its mark.

[Ship size comparison]
The list given below will provide a compact but also good visual of the ships you have access to if done the training and work for each one. Depicting the size of a Titan supercapital ship to a corvette class ship of their faction.

[Corporations]
Players can create or become part of a corporation, which is a collaboration of players from any faction that will work together and can engage war with other corporations as long as the reason meets its call.

[Additional Facts]
Some of the many conflicts on Eve have even made their way onto news and other sources such as the bloodbath of B-r5rb which was a single conflict that took almost a entire day and resulted in the use of at or over $300,000 USD.

If you're trying to get people to start playing... that's hard.
The game is complicated and takes a bunch of time to even get decent enough to not be an absolute scrub shit.

Actually they made the tutorial a bit simpler and easier on control and playability. So its learning curve isn't as steep as it had used to be
