I decided to start learning the new Source 2 tools before the official release, just to be ready. Let's just say I don't want to go back to source 1 anymore even with the bootleg version of the SDK. I tried recreating the apartments from Half-Life 2 as it kept me interested while learning the new layout. Clearly I still haven't figured out the new lighting system... or maybe it isn't even fully functional with the bootleg SDK. Anyway, here's what Half-Life 2 could look like in Source 2, aside from the lighting...
