half life 2 rp and ww3 rp

Haven't been on both servers in a while, got into half life 2 rp easy yesterday, but today since trying to get on, garrys mod completely crashes, when an mp3 sound ties to download, titled sound/atmos/thunder_far_away.mp3 or something like that, does the exact same when trying to get onto the ww3 server.
As far as I'm aware all content packs are installed

Any help would be great, thanks!

Is it the kind of shit where it reaches something and crashes to desktop with no error?

I had a similar problem a few days ago. The same file downloads and then all I get is a black screen with audio. I lowered all my graphical settings for gmod to minimum and then it began to work. Hope this helps.

Try unsubscribing from the atmos addon and subscribe it again.
Basically re-download it.

If none of the above works I suggest you try reinstalling Gmod.
