I recently got shit on by some friends over my bad taste in music, and other than the classics- The Doors, Nirvana and a few other bands of the such, I'm not that knowledgeable about good music nowadays. I find Twenty one Pilots decent, but a lot of their songs are pretty damn edge, but then I say that and go on and listen to a low-publicity band called "Mother Mother", and they're edgier than the goth kids' razor blades.
Anyways, if you guys can hit me up with a few decent bands, I'll check them out.

Imagine Dragons recently came back from a hiatus and made a badass new album.

Metallica is a really good metal band, went to one of their concerts recently.

The White Stripes has quite a few gems for their songs.

There's no such thing as bad music, listen to whatever you want and tell those people to cut their own head off

If you think you could get more out of music for whatever reason though, the best way I've found good music is to listen to Spotify's Listen Weekly playlist. Gives you 30 songs per week based off what you already listen to, I've found loads of music through it

As I understand you're into Indie Rock, ey?

Here's some that I listen to, with their best song(imo) respectively.

Other stuff, my favourites that I recommend.

I recomend Sabaton. A good band that mixes history.

(some of this can be really good in strategy games, FPS, or for honor)

21 pilots suck

need to know what genres you like in order to recommend since the doors and nirvana aren't genres

the best you can do is find a genre or more than one that you like and go from there

but if you like nirvana check out Pixies, FIDLAR, Cloud Nothings, Soundgarden, idk what to tell you fam

Two Door Cinema Club is pretty alright I guess, maybe a bit more light-hearted than most of the other stuff here.
AWOLNATION is also pretty damn good.
MisterWives is great if you like the more radio-friendly stuff that's still new, rocky and creative.

Otherwise I'm more into Swedish rap and reggae and there's no point in sharing that here.

obligatory chartpost, the elitism around it is cancer but these are objectively good albums/bands that might help
