Projectile. Makes me feel amazing to land a far-off shot with a rifle after having accounted for potential environmental factors like wind or bullet drop.

I prefer serverside projectile bullets, used to love the shit outta games like Battlefield for that reason. There's something really satisfying about landing a longshot when it's not hitscan.

The FPS I've put the most hours into has a mixture of the both, but I'd say it depends on how I'm playing.

Predicting an enemy's movement with a projectile shot can be very satisfying, but landing consecutive headshots with hitscan can be even more satisfying and more beneficial for your team.
