I really like that show 'The 100'.
Its about an earth devastated by nuclear warfare, a couple hundred, maybe thousand make it to space. 13 space stations for 13 different colonies, when the show actually starts all space stations were merged to one, but it turns out there is an oxygen problem. So they send 100 people under 18 who have committed a number of crimes to earth. After that the show switches from the station to the kids/teens. I think its really good because it reveals the people who survived the blast and stuff.

Really good show, its on Netflix. Maybe some other sites.

I used to collect things from WW2. Sold everything, now I just maintain the items I have from my families military history and when I can be bothered I log into a WW2 forum and authenticate stuff for other collectors

Other than that, movies yes

or you could try teaching yourself a new language

all you need to do is have a baseline of a few sentences and then just start going from there

watching movies in english with subtitles of whatever language you want to learn helps a lot

you can also switch the (written) language of games to said language you want to learn

ALSO i like to collect incredibly abstract and foreign movie posters on internet hunts because i find things like japanese posters to be more aesthetic in their minimalist lettering and craft, and belgian posters to look a lot nicer in the fact they mainly draw them rather than scan it or whatever they do. plus, the rarer posters are also nice to look at because they're mainly artist impression

why dont you try and actually get the posters in physical form

they would look neat if framed and hung in a room somewhere

i'd really love to but wouldn't know where to start
most of these are rare and expensive to the point where i dont even think they do like the fake reprints
i should start trying though

doesn't matter if they're re-pros as they're going up on a wall anyways and people won't care enough to check

they barely cost anything anyways so its fine

i also think there's a way to actually get posters printed via printing out the image professionally through some sort of system/website/whatever
ill look into it

and yeah idc about them being reproductions im saying some of them are rare enough they don't even make it to that stage

flying is pretty chill

imo winter gives you the best views, this was from a pretty recent flight where i took up a glider b/c they're far more relaxing and i just sometimes prefer them over the hassle of powered flight

I'm thinking of taking up a hobby or two pretty soon, this much is what I can think of

  • gardening
  • beekeeping (found a beehive designed to act like an actual honey keg.)
  • metal detecting
  • coin collecting
you guys got any interesting hobbies or suggestions for what I could do? preferably stuff that's not only relaxing but also potentially a source of side-income.

60 already are we?

just get some high quality poster(?) paper and print it out yourself, if you can find a printer that prints on a3 or bigger

I remember watching this show wayback when and after some good episodes it just devolved into tweenish cringeworthy trash
