To me, the Nebulous.Cloud OutlandsRP, starting with the Depot Arc, was one of the most fun experiences I had on HL2RP.. To. This. Day.
I miss the Outlands. I miss when it didn't matter if there was 3, or 30, people online, that fun was still there to be had, all you had to do was find it.
The adventures I went on, the stories I was apart of. I miss it all.
Thank you, Nebulous. While OutlandsRP wasn't everyone's cup of tea, I miss it.

The most fun I had in hl2rp for an extremely long time, I was happy to take part and lead a cell. I remember seeing the post when I was out coming back home from my partners and I immediately called @Verräterpackaging and talked about what and who I characters would be and the formation of 1st Platoon, and then recruiting @Anti-tankspy to help and @Raiden.

There's a lot that could have been done better for sure but the fact that it was mine and his first ever rebel characters we did pretty good if I dare say so.

Season 1 was largely goated with the balance of high tension and lower combat, just a shame I could never get myself to cool back down to a more casual playstyle after the war campaign that was the city24 uprising. but it was good to see us use it well and break a lot of old conventions, we did a ton of stuff that would've completely shat the server if it was a traditional city format.

Pretty crazy turn of events tbh, was @Raiden who ushered me to try out the new server, early stuff with the first platoon was fun on apoc and gave me a good base to start my character considering I hadn't a single fucking clue what was going on as I did zero reading before actually joining the server (funnily enough me and @Gary nearly just gave up and left 20 minutes in since we spawned and was pretty much instantly captured and executed 10 minutes later by a cop squad for no reason, we were clueless)

Can't mention season 1 without saying that Asheville was absolutely goated and was never topped in terms of atmosphere, the city raids were tense af and occasionally running into an enemy patrol was easily the most fun I've had out of Neb's servers, close second was C24 as the s2k strats with the lads was very fun

this might sound odd but I enjoyed linntrix's iteration a lot in regards to any outlands action we saw. The group we had ambushed convoys and hunters on occasion and caused mayhem on the outlands and i loved every bit of it.
