So, I've lately been really into a lot of this cold war stuff, mostly because of the WW3RP server. I like toying around with Russian soldiers, striking up different scenarios and whatnot.. More's to come in the future, surely. Until then, enjoy. Or not. I don't give a rat's arse!

Critique is always welcome, if constructive. I'd rather not have a thread filled with "HURR DURR YOUR POSING IS SHIT", thanks in advance. Posting the images under the Spoiler for convenience's sake.

One of my first in regards to Russian stuff - hand posing isn't ALL that great - still working on improving it. Some of you have probably already seen this screenshot on my Soviet character bio. If you have, cheers! If not, please have a look at it. Or don't.

Some more gloomy shit, felt like tossing it out there for the sake of why not. The gun used is a Zastava M70AB2 with a foldable stock. Turn up the brightness to see a doggo to the left.

Inspiration taken mostly from real life events, as I'm part of the Swedish Home Guard (one of it's youth branches anyway), and felt it'd be fitting to throw in a ordinary line-up and briefing by a CO.

One of my more artsy-fartsy shots, because who doesn't like sunrays?

Lightning isn't the best, the angle is a little odd but I liked the position and I think it turned out rather well, if I do say so myself.

A photo I more or less made like ten-fifteen minutes ago (at around 2:45 AM my time), supposed to depict soldiers partaking in a exercise with one of 'em yappity officers having a few words about the Squad Leader's decisions.

That's it for now, folks! I might update this list later on, if I feel like sharing more of my work on here. Criticism is, as always, welcome to the open mind! Enjoy.

Aaaaand that's all I'm giving you's. For now. Have fun.

This is pretty good, however you need to work more on camera angles and lighting, also need to work more on the environment. Theres a three or was it four point lighting tutorial on steam garrysmod guide section that you could use, also search up console shadow commands in google for a facepunch thread

Thanks for the informative feedback, I really appreciate it! I am still quite new to this 'scene' in general. When speaking of the environment, do you have any particular things in mind? I myself am thinking that I like to keep most of my pics rather spartan, not too much nor too little. Otherwise it'll get quite cluttered, but it all depends on the photo at hand.

When I mean working on the environment, I mean working on the details of the scene, don't leave empty space so it looks barren and make it look more natural, for example if it was a battle then there should be more bodies, more chaos, bullets flying, shells on the ground, etcetera. Make it look like there actually is a battle going on by putting stuff in the background to solidify the look.
If it's an after-battle, then there should be a clear look, medics tending to bodies, soldiers looking worn out, lots of shells scattered on the ground, weapons all around the place, bullet holes, injured soldiers.
