Hello, I'm going to use this thread as a kind of log for a small case study I am undergoing, with myself as the subject.
In short, I need fillings, small ones. The study I am undergoing is based of of one question. My thesis is: Can dental caries be suppressed to the point of being benign through the use of improved dental hygiene and care?
My hypothesis is that it can, with the tooth being able to be left alone with almost no negative effects being applied should my oral hygiene being good enough and enough care taken. Will update when self-study continues.
UPDATE 1: Caries seem to be stagnant, no progression from acid wear or sugar being trapped interproximally. Will proceed to monitor through use of radiographs, may copy radiographs and post when available.
