5th Combat Engineering Division - "Lambda's Finest"
Originally founded in late 2019, and officially contracted by Lambda in 2021, the 5th Combat Engineering Division stands, as the name suggests, as Lambda's 5th attempt at a Combat Engineering Division. It was founded by two former 'UIL' colleagues, Warren Barr and Jamal Spencer, after fleeing from City 507.

Ever since those events in 2019, the duo turned into a small collective of fugitives who were more skilled with tools and devices, than firearms and sharp objects. Since then, they've been on various missions between 2021 and 2023, but their biggest challenge is now upon them. With the combine portal gone, it's now time for them to proof that their nickname is no lie.

The Goals
Lambda's Finest, or rather the 5th Combat Engineering Division is a support division of Lambda. They're rarely on the frontlines, and often seen stealing technology and scrap from the Combine to be re-used as their own weaponry. Be it a re-programmed hopper mine, a stolen forcefield, or a energy rifle emplacement, nothing is truly safe from Lambda's Finest.

Aside from simply stealing from the Combine, they often build their own projects such as weapons and vehicles by themselves. Despite being a support division, Lambda's Finest also often works independetly, as it's members are known for being quite arrogant on occasion. The Engineering Division are not known for showing love and appreciation to combine captives either, but they will always offer them a job in their "Quality Assurance" team.

The Hierarchy
The hierarchy of the 5th Combat Engineering Division is relatively simple, featuring three seperate ranks with their own little niches.

The bedrock of the hierarchy are the Rookies, they're a bunch of independant refugees working on their breakthrough in the group. They're not officially one of Lambda's Finest until they impress it's members enough to become one of them.

The liveblood of the hierarchy are the Members, categorized as Hackers, Scrappers, and Jackers.
Hackers are self-explanatory, they mainly work on electronics and re-programming. Scrappers is simply the nickname for engineers, they work with Hackers to build projects. Jackers are often not the only rank of a member, jackers are members who volunteered to help scout and steal combine technology.
These three specialisations may sometimes have Specialists, being the top of their class essentially. The main aspect of them is that they often train rookies who wish to work in their class.

The peak of the hierarchy are the Leaders, those being the founders Warren Barr and Jamal Spencer. They lead the entirety of the division, and will continue doing so for the foreseeable future.
