I don't know who made this, and what it's supposed to represent but it looks fucking depressed and it's almost smack-bang in the center of the city.

It honestly looks like it's just looking over the city and thinking
"Yep, Christchurch is still fucked."

It's standing atop the Art Gallery. I've been in there a couple of times. One time this year, in fact. I went with my class for a school project. My mates and I took the piss out of it because some of the stuff in there was utterly ridiculous. I actually got kicked out of the gallery and almost fined because I walked into this

If you don't know what that is, it's a recycle bin. A fairly common one in nz, actually. I walked into it from an angle where I couldn't see the wood and the Employees started flipping their shit. Good times.

ya boi Maui went on a fishing boat with his bros, he got a fish that was pretty big and he was like "dude i gotta thank the gods for this fish brb"

then his brothers were like "fuck the gods lets chuck down on this mean feed bro" and they started eating the fish, that ended up deforming the fish and forming mountains and caverns across it.

the fish was the north island, and the waka (sorta boat) that they were on was the south island (where i live)

so tl;dr

South Island is a pretty cool boat and the North Island is a rotting fish
