My PC freezes whenever I play games.

It doesn't just happen on gmod, it happens to any games that happen to be 3D and doesn't run on a browser. The better the graphics, the more likely it freezes. It doesn't do any blue screens, nothing, it just either black screens for a second and says that the nvidia drivers stopped working, and/or it just freezes everything, cant move the mouse or anything, requiring a hard reboot. I've did a fresh reinstall of windows 10, I've defragged my drives, I've everything I could conveniently do. It also randomly stutters.

I got a meh-grade laptop, it can play games, since it had gaming in mind when being made, but it's not the best out there.

If you can, try salvaging that 12gbs of RAM, could be used for a new PC?

hes using a laptop, so no, it cannot be salvaged for a desktop

either way, defo sounds gpu related to me. no point even bothering paying to get it fixed. go desktop or go home

can give some pointers on cheap shit to get thats good to run recent games

I got a gaming desktop, but like I said, it's dead because of a power supply failure and I didn't get the time or money to fix it.

google works, or find someone irl that knows computers better than you. pretty much everyone knows now tbh
