When I worked in a shop we used to supply McGhees rolls (also Mortons), two of the leading distributors

Every single FUCKING day we would have English people come up to my or one of my colleagues till with loads of rolls, irn bru and Lorne sausage. The story was always EXACTLY the same, they were headed down south and the rolls up here are simply fucking BETTER than anythin down south, and so are the sausages

I've seen about 200 English folk buy these rolls and claim they're better and no sense of your own tiny city's nationalism will take that away

couldn't give a fuck if down in south Warwickshire you say "oi Rupert pass me a BARMY BUNGLEWHOPPER with sausage", when you come up here it's a ROLL

also it can't be bun because here we call a cake a sticky bun sometimes
