Not really that good at posing, and I don't do it /that/ often. Wanted to share some of my stuff anyway because why not? I pose because I enjoy it very much. I also like experimenting with different stuff.
I'll start with some older stuff and then move to the newer ones. I'll add in some commentary every once in a while to shed some light on the thought process behind some of the poses. You'll notice that I used to pose a lot with DoD:S stuff. That's mainly because they were simple to pose with (they didn't have face posing and they were easy to handle), and I really wanted to make some WWII inspired stuff.
First time using emitters.
I also got some inspiration from actual moments which took place in HL2RP. These were, at least in my opinion, surprisingly good poses (the latter one perhaps being better), if you take into consideration that they were the first ones I think I ever used lights in, and this was way before I actively started experimenting with them. As always though, they could've been improved on.
I used to take screenshots from many different angles, experimenting with camera positioning.
Started to really utilize lighting, but the scene above didn't turn out too great. Experimented with highlighting key elements, AKA the satchel charges in that pose.
Yeah, I don't think I need to explain what I was experimenting with here... Very basic poses. This is also when I started using props to clutter the scenery.
First time using different models and better effects. I think you can tell that I made these to test them out.
The camerawork is off on this one. Could've done better, cool idea though.
These were some of the more recent ones. Some are better than others. They all could've definitely been improved on, but such is life. I've started using higher quality models and actively seek better ways to do stuff. I feel like every pose has been a learning process, and each one has me picking at least some new ways to improve my work.
So, that's basically it for now. I have made more, but they didn't really make great examples. I should definitely start using more filters and just generally begin planning the scenes, as I've usually just gone with the flow.
Feel free to tell me what you think of them. I might make some more and upload them here, or I might not.
