Me again, my database exam went ok
I had a busy weekend and got a busy week ahead so this will be concise!
Lets go;
It's bold, it's risky, it's full of question and is an enigma to look at. Charred dead body on some decrepit mattress in presumably a cell or nuked out part of civilisation. With a link for what I thought was core.org but I was too hopeful, for it was really gore.org. Double dog dare you to make something actually scary with this filtering as long as it's within rules of the thread :^).
Whats with all the violence my guys? Regardless, very nice stuff going on here but the only thing that's kinda missing is some unique lighting? I bring up lighting a lot but it IS important. Both these pictures kinda have a
Resident Evil 5 kinda palette, but they really would suit some
black background and dropped flashlight kinda vibes if you get what I mean. So yeah, toy with some lighting next time. Is real good though chief.
This is some nice line work, drawing ain't my strong suit - manga style stuff certainly not. But I can't deny some potential when I see some. Get rid of this lined paper and find something to base a drawing off of perhaps? From the little I used to draw in workshops at college, sharp chins and thin necks could really lose depth but the tiny shadows you added are alright. Keep it up, wanna see some progress (If you really want to).
Yeah yeah you're alright, does stay faithful to the base inspiration as well. Reminds me of stuff like Bastion or Transistor. You're as good as ever
@Elan
Meh I know you said don't count your stuff but this is more of a feedback thread anyways. Anyways, no feedback, you could've won probably because this is pretty neato but guess not cus you skipped out. Only thing I could really point out is the muzzle flash, but I know how difficult they can be. Nice work.
Truly an oscar worthy performance, a labour of love those types of vids on GTA, or they were for me anyways whenever I tried. I don't have much to add because I haven't really reviewed a theatrical thing before. Nice stuff though.
Been awhile since I've done big scenes
Very nice scenebuild with a lot of detail, the only thing really lacking is good shading and perhaps a better camera angle? Guessing this was done on an actual map and stuff which is alright but like I say the lighting really let you down my guy.
My Winning Vote: @Dicknose
Honourable Vote for "Labour of Love": @big baz from jaywick
Don't agree with what I said?
I'm sorry, I guess.
Shoutout to our main guy
@lemon for the amount of work he's done here for such a long time.
Guy deserves rest under a shady tree on a warm savannah with an icy cold beer.
Cheers Lemon.
