yeah but the thing is the middle east barely has anything that super powers will start an all out war for, if people need something in the middle east it'll be done through a small conflict/proxy war

What I'm getting at is at this point in time, all of us bigger countries are too scared to really do anything that might start a real war. Our friends and allies in the middle east aren't. Bedsides, I don't know about other countries, but tot he U.S., we have Israel, and Turkey as allies and oil imports. In case you haven't noticed the last few conflicts. To us (one of the largest military powers in the world) the middle east has relevance. So I have no idea what you mean when you suggest that there is no relevancy to the middle east.
