From the Sources that I have seen on the Internet and Youtube, I believe that a rather large portion of the Turkish Military have disliked Tayyip after having provided a very large amount of government benefits towards those of the Islamic Faith (Leading to many people branding their Government as Pro-Islamist). Due to this having gone on for a long time, and the recent confirmation of Daesh Involvement in the Nice Attack, the section of the Military has undergone an attempt to overthrow the Turkish Prime Minister and sieze control of the entire Country "In the name of Freedom and Democracy". In terms of who is on what side of the ongoing conflict, here is pretty much it:

Tayyip:

• Most Turkish Citizens
• Refugees living in Turkey
• Police (Heavily Unarmed and outnumbered)

Military Coup:

• Very-Large Portion of the Military (Armed with Tanks, Jets and Assault Rifles)
• Some Turkish Citizens

Again, I'm skeptical as fuck on this. This is merely from what I have seen from The Guardian, RT, Sky News and Twitter
