IF YOU CAN'T STAND RENISSANCE/CLASSICAL/MODERN/BARQUE MUSIC PLEASE ESCORT YOURSELF OUT OF THIS THREAD, THIS RECOMMENDATION IS FOR YOUR OWN WELL BEING AND I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LONG-TERM DAMEGES INCURED ON YOUR FEEBLE SOUL.

Good, stuff, for lyrics, translation, sheet press here.

Very emotional, chromatic, mastry of the instrument, Dowland.

Famous tallis piece, can't stop listening to the "Incipt lamentatio Ieremiae prophetae", magnificent, also the orginal hebrew text is good literature on it's own.

Last part very excelent, music by a guy that killed his wife, nuff said.

Great performance, good music.

Three more:
Shostakovich, first movment "Babi Yar" about the holocaust, good poems, good music, really exposing you to the horror. Other movments about the harsh life in the Soviet Union, again, good music and poems.

Benjamin Britten, high modernism, guitar, sheet, good performance, based on Dowland.

Good up and coming composer, got politzer for this, kudos. Becaful watching without speakers on full volume, mother might think you are seeing porn. Only complain is that I don't think she mastered her style like Gabrielli I posted before, but still, for a new composer, this is fantastic.
