Freedom! Love! Peace! - the people shout as a march is held in front of the old Administration Palace, commemorating, once again, the liberation of the capital of Europe from the Combine's tightening hands.
It's «the dawn of the New Era» as preached by Lambda propagandists.

In other news, the Provisional Junta has decreed a halt on the distribution of houses due to a large influx of applicants. The housing program is overflown and people will be temporarily assigned to habitation camps built across the city's vast parks while Lambda deals with the current high demand for housing. A vast majority of apartment buildings were bombarded by Combine forces on the last days of the Siege, under the orders of Overwatch's Security Council, adding another obstacle that the Junta will have to overcome.

The new sense of Hope is still in the air. Nevertheless, the people do not seem happy with the recent constraints on the housing situation.
