My dad bought a motorcycle he used to have in the 80's
Called the yamaha something, looks pretty cool and can tell he is enjoying it.
But that's about as much experience I have with them.

What do you all like about motorcycles? Sure, they look fun, but is there really a significantly higher danger when riding one? You are definitely more exposed to outside elements, and lack the exterior protection from normal cars, but does it really feel "highly dangerous?" Do the motorcycle helmets block out the engine noise? I noticed some motorcycles are relatively quiet, are most like that, or?

Just curious about how motorcyclists feel about their bikes.

In my opinion, it is vital that motorcycle exhausts don't block the noise that much. In that case, you can always rev up in case some car does not see you.

I like motorcycles because in Turkey theres a big fat traffic problem so to get around it Im using a motorcycle

Also of course the fact that when you drive it you feel like you are flying, at some point, you forget that theres a motorcycle underneath you, it turns into some sort of a limb for you. I never felt that with cars. The helmet blocks out the engine noise just a little if you flip the visor down.

And of course lastly it does feel dangerous and the fear is what keeps you alive on a motorcycle, you have to cling to that fear if you want to live a long motorcyclist life.

And man I love my baby I take care of her really good she is my only valentine.

Cars transport my body but the motorcycle transports my soul.
