Time to make a metro map

As a matter of fact, here's a piece of what I've already done over the weekend.

The project for me is simple, create a map in the metro universe that has players traversing across a large area of the metro. The sacrifice is that this will be more linear and less open compared to a map like last refuge.

Anyway, this map is very early on and only a single area exists so far, I need to expand out the map further after all and actually get a surviving metro station built, that will be my next goal.

Could use some more interesting lighting, take advantage of the dark areas to make really interesting areas. Try to make areas round as possible, stray away from blocky poles and such. Use props if you have to make support beams and etc.

Seems like the Lurkers have been tunnelling in the maintenance routes outside of cursed station..

Try not to fall inside one of the holes, there's no way you will be able to climb out, and the lurkers are always waiting just out of the brightness to rip you to shreds. Watch your step.

Speaking of which, it seems someone has been living in those maintenance routes for a little while now, no sight of them anywhere though..

No offense, but here's a good suggestion: break it up.

There's too much brick and random roof textures everywhere. Add some pipes, support beams, etc.

If you don't do this, your map is going to suffer from monotony as things will seem more like cubes than actual reality.
