PICTURED: The Politi-Control Plaza following mild reinnovation by Weiland Enterprises

After a few days of utter silence following their opening, representatives of the Sofian branch of WEILAND Enterprises have finally made their presence known on the streets of City Seventeen through the establishment of their first official workshift in the region. Attendees in the workshift have been seen using sledgehammers, under the watchful oversight of Civil Protection and the Progenitor Arm, in order to the fairly simple yet physically imposing job of breaking the rubble in the plaza and surrounding street to tiny pieces. When questioned about the conditions of such a job, WE Chairman Lukas Weiland has given the following statement:

"Sofia's post-Soviet architecture is fairly simple to replicate and rebuild. In order to conserve current resources in the possession of the state for greater purposes and future, long-term innovations, we have concluded that the pieces of concrete on the street will be more than sufficient to construct, through the given tools and equipment granted to us by the Unification State, building stabilization kits that will assist in saving many of the buildings in the city. Weiland Enterprises's existence in Sofia has one and only one purpose; to reinnovate this simple yet fairly energetic town and transform it into the utopian landscape in the way Our Benefactors have envisioned, through proper working conditions, fiscal motivation and, ultimately, the improvement of the quality of life for the average citizen first and foremost."

Workers who have participated in WE's workshift have been positively identified as:

William Foster
Xiao Fijun
Michael Overton
Dutch de Salle
Stan Shrew
Anders Mustalainen

WE worker records have confirmed that, unlike false allegations made by a certain newspaper, save for two workers who were paid less than the rest for neglect, all of the participants in the workshift have been paid a generous amount way above the claimed payment; while payment records have been confirmed as truthful by the upper echelons of Civil Protection and the PA, they will not be publicly disclosed as they have been classed as corporate classified documents.

Mr. Weiland has also confirmed that, while the work itself was physically tiresome, all of the participants in the workshifts willingly volunteered despite knowing the nature of the work; solely motivated by the generous fiscal motivation provided by Mr. Weiland, who proceeded to claim that the efficiency done in this simple job proves that the private sector still has a place in the post-liberation world, and that WE seeks to expand not only in cleanup operations, but further expand into scientific research and biomedical engineering and that it is still seeking to recruit potential partners who may have experience in, specifically, civil engineering, biomedical research and magnetics engineering with generous benefits, including but not limited to:

Generous payment from WE (Bonus may be added from Our Benefactors)
Access to improved medical care
Improved housing

WE has also recently announced its intention for the establishment of an auxiliary corps: mainly seeking to recruit security personnel and janitors.

PICTURED: Volunteer workers in Weiland Enterprises warehouse
Having fully settled in Sofia, WE has immediately begun work to clean up the streets of the city and repair the nearly-falling buildings. Pictured above is a WE-managed workshift, detailing workers constructing what Chairman Lukas Weiland has described to be the main components of a makeshift 'building re-enforcement kit', overseen by forces of Civil Protection and the local Progenitor Arm.

Chairman Weiland has agreed to give details regarding the building re-enforcement kit, explaining that production of the kit will will be done over two stages. The workshift pictured above has been detailing the first stage of production, where volunteers were shown simple yet precise steps of what was to be done in order to construct a set of heavy-duty tripods, which will be setup inside the main pillars of the damaged buildings and pump the inside of the buildings with liquid cement, which will roughen into solid structure with time, not only stopping the building from falling, but also reinforcing its structural integrity to prevent further damage.

As usual, workers have been paid generously for their hard work. Volunteers who participated in the workshift have been willingly identified as:

Dutch de Salle
Stan Shrew
Eddie Jay Westgrin
Bailey Lincoln

This technology has been reported to be one of its kind and never seen before in any corner of the globe. Chairman Weiland has given all thanks to Our Benefactors and the Department of Civil Services for assisting with all required resources at the best possible level they can, and will promise to deliver to the citizens of City Seventeen.

As of now, residents await with great anticipation whether will this be an opportunity for safe and clean housing, or a catastrophic failure. Chairman Weiland has confirmed that this new kit will see use in the upcoming days, and will be tested on one of District 47's empty apartment buildings in order to avoid casualties in case of a technical failure.
