Someone's been watchin Fantano's "album of the decade" videos
not judging tho
On that topic, which are ya'lls favorite albums?
Hard to pick for me
I loved The Monitor by Titus Andronicus when I first heard it but haven't listened to it in a while
And Ceres and Calypso in The Deep Time is like one of the most mindblowing shoegaze dreampop albums i've ever heard
And I'm also a sucker for some Shinsei Kamattechan
and Shintaro Sakamoto's Let's Dance Raw (which is way too underappreciated)

in terms of fav albums I've discovered this year (not released this year)?
id say
L'étreinte Imaginaire by Auscultation - soul crushing ambient house, highlights are the first track and black window, it kills me man (also the cover)
Sounds from the Far East by Soichi Terada - super fun, and basically the reason I've started listening to more electronic stuff this year (managed to snatch up a limited edition vinyl for cheap-ish)
Enchanted Propaganda by Jvck Wai - pretty late fav for this year, catchy anti-capitalist (?) K-pop ish cloud rap (highlights are capitalism, hate generation, title track, life disorder)
in terms of fav albums overall though, only ones that I can say for sure are madvillainy and discovery
