I have quite a few.

The Smiths - Johnny Marr is a fantastic guitarist, probably my favourite ever.
Pink Floyd - Animals, Dark Side Of The Moon, and The Wall are some of the best albums ever created.
The Doors - Because Jim Morrison has some of the best lyrics ever, and he can enter me if he comes back to life.
Joy Division - Like Jim, Ian Curtis has some fantastic lyrics.
The Manic Street Preachers - They're Welsh, and The Holy Bible is the holy grail of 90's music.
Pulp - Jarvis Cocker is fantastic.
Frank Zappa - Sheik Yerbouti is so funny and satirical. Plus Frank is a musical genius.
Jeff Buckley - That man had the voice of an angel.
David Bowie - He was an artistic master.
The Pixies - Everyone is influenced by them, even if they don't know it. They're amazing.
Radiohead - Ok Computer and Kid A are two of the best albums ever recorded.
Arcade Fire - They're the kingpins of indie music, and are probably the best band around at the moment.

Guns n' Roses was my first love of real music when I was a kid. Never much fancied it right up until I heard that opening guitar riff to Sweet Child O' Mine and became a rock n' roll lad for life

Queen, by far, since I was like 7.
Queen's Live Aid performance was what made me like music.
I had the pleasure to see them live (With Adam Lambert) quite recently.
