Destroy City 17?
Make the people who protected you from veing a slave to a gead hopper, or stabbed in the back by an antlion hostile to both citizens and OTAs?
Release dozens of antlions into city 17?
Force the Combine to shell city 17?
They have done more bad than good.

not really, portals were not opened by Combine as far as we know, they were opened as a result of an experiment. It is a ruined planet, but still, if they did want humanity to survive, the conflict is necessary.

If the Combine get to Aperture tech, WHICH mind you they already did, attacking that rebel base, they can reopen the portal with zero problem.
