Workshop Map File Differs from Servers

Newfag here.
I downloaded the map file from workshop collection, and when I tried to rejoin I was met with the message that my map differed from the servers. I had to manually delete the map file from my game files to fix it.

I imagine this would be caused from the workshop file being outdated, or the servers map being outdated.

delete map from workshop + your addons folder, then try joining

idk what really causes it, but joining without the map installed(both, in addons and the workshop) makes it work. @Zak might be able to explain since he's a hammer rocket sciencist
