It's quite simple. Just share your opinion. I'd like to see everyone's opinions.

Personally, it depends on how mature the child is in question. I think that if a child is mature enough they should be allowed to play an online game such as Garry's Mod, GTA, or any other game that has online features. If they're impressionable, certainly not. I've seen too many sixth graders who've been contaminated by early exposure to the internet. It isn't pretty. That's only my opinion though. Feel free to debate civilly, and share with others, your opinion.

Honestly I see how this might be sort of boring, as a lot of the answers might be the same but hey, it's worth a shot.

From either pre-school or kindergarten I've dumped most of my time into CS 1.6 and Starcraft 1. I actively browsed 4chan in grade six and I saw a lot of things that desensitized me that I shouldn't have seen. These are two things that I like to blame for a lot of my flaws.

It's rather unhealthy for a child to grow up with such a routine that makes the natural state of mind being, "go play video games". I enjoyed it, but I could've seen my life pan out differently otherwise, better or for worse.

Well, I more than likely would've been playing baseball in the United States on a scholarship if I even spent a third of the time I spent playing videogames on baseball. I was pretty good, but if I would've went the extra mile and made it a priority, I would've been enjoying life in the U.S.A.

I don't really care how old someone is in a video game as long as they act mature.

You're right.
By the way, if that was not obvious, I was joking with the 'Blyat' video.

I don't care, just if they are mature and don't blast out dated generic memes I'm fine.

Let them play the games they want.
Just make sure they don't invest a shitload of time like I did.
Had I established self controlled with gaming back in my child days, I probably wouldn't of gone through the struggle of years to hone my revision skills.

Makes me think the same with football, the possibilities of what your life could of been.

When I was 11, I saw lugia and kyogre lesbian porn spray on gmod and it scarred me for life.

I suppose I would take after my parents, being a bit more conservative on this and that young children should not invest a lot of time on computer games. I dislike seeing children being heavily too influenced to the point on where they start cursing, swearing and acting like spoiled brats which is what may happen when you're a bit relaxed on them on going to whatever depths of internet or online games which would def include gmod. Actually, probably a no when it comes to GTA and all those violent games when it comes to young children.

allow for kids to play video games but limit their time to 1h a day or so

it's pretty ideal for them imo

i started playing guitar so i would have had something to do instead of just vidya all day every day
the nice thing about guitar is that it's not too late even if you start playing when you're like 15

To be honest, if they actually want to learn how to play on that server seriously instead of mucking about and doing annoying crap, I would support them. Else if they are here to minge, they can go fuck right off.

I am only thirteen, and people accept me. Somehow.
