Started talking to this guy on grindr we got to the topic of reading he says how hes into dystopian novels, we got to what other types of books we read or want to read and I mentioned I was planning on reading some books by Dostoevsky and Thomas Pynchon and he blocked me :/

hunger games was good reading when I was younger, same with Harry Potter (I didn’t read those), they’re for any age.

besides the notion of a “safe-zone”, they make gay men into spectacles, treated like an accessory. It’s like gay safari for them without having to live the gay life. Then trying to hijack the scene and mold it to their tastes.

but then they get the audacity to be offended when a lesbian flirts with them.

From my own experiences in London just never go clubbing, go to bars instead. They're a thousand times more relaxed and wont leave you getting touched up if you decide to go in on a few glasses of vodka to enjoy your night. Feels like folk actually watch out for eachother and it's a lot more friendly, smiles and nods being exchanged or the odd raise of a glass rather than someone looking at you, rushing over for a 'dance' where they touch your ass then getting moody when you tell them to piss off

Both places have completely different cultures and it's kind of astonishing to see, feels like one is full of folk being super horny and grabby, the other is just guys wanting to have a nice drink and a chat.

Nightclubs are trash, disgusting, hot, sweaty, everyone's high off something, trying to move around feels like you're in the middle of a migrant wave, and you can forget being able to have a conversation with anybody whilst shitty music penetrates your ears all night.
