no, one of my friend's didn't pop up on epstein's flight log this time
it's just about this community in general. not leaving any time soon, i like moderating and rolenspeiling in this hellsite, but Just as i can critique the bathwatere when it is a little too hot for my liking i'd(that's a bad analogy lol) like to dump my thoughts out for anyone caring to read.

that's awful neat. you can simply mark this as read and waddle away, do something more productive with the dwindling time we all have on this world.
it's really no secret that the travelers of this xenoforo website based off of gmod server based off of the opening chapter of half-life 2 is awfully toxic. as much as i despise that phrase, it works in this context so i'll use it.
despite us all being in one little shell of "people who spend their free time pretending to be someone else on the source engine" it seems a choking majority of us really enjoy to wank their flaccid wee wees around, waddling up on a little soapbox to preach and act superior to one another for absolutely no fucking reason
think about for 2 fucking seconds. it's Garret's Mod Role Play. we (say for the few lurkers) all share the hobby of roleplaying on a 10 year old video game. we're all in the same camp, but that's not to say it's pathetic; being ashamed of your hobbies is even more pathetic than having a shameful hobby to begin with.
we're all creative in some way. no matter what, you gotta be at least a little creative to pretend to be someone else with a full history and background, completely altered personality, all based off a shitty low-poly model and physical description. some of us go above and beyond to show this creativity, but the baseline is; everyone in the little gathering of the brains have something nice going on in our heads.
give yourself more credit than you do. stop being ashamed of this. i'm not saying print out a t-shirt of neb's logo and masturbate to half-life 2 rp footage, but just be more open minded and free spirited about your hobby, especially one like this.
on the same side of that funny lil' coin, stop acting pretentious over it. stop trying to demotivate, to completely dishearten other people who share a different thought on what hl2rp is. harassing the past or present lead of a faction because they don't do it how you wanna do it, harassing someone who made a "cringy" RP doc. stop being so bizarrely spiteful and hateful over something so inexplicable.
Think About Other People, essentially, and their feelings. don't i sound like some children's cartoon character trying to teach toddlers about morals? i probably do. but from the way i look at it, that doesn't really matter. we're in quite the spiteful age, politics and what not. ironically enough i mentioned something against soapboxing earlier yet here i am doing the same, owned.
i know i'm practically asking too much out of people, to act nice online instead of being spiteful and unenjoyable to talk to. i'm sure it's le epic optimistic or whatever. optimism is better than just blind pessimism and flat out rudeness. an optimistic outlook on life is better than just a sigh and a "oh, if only."
no matter what sphere, or space of the internet i happen to dwell in, it's always caked in an essence of negativity. it seems even close friends despise eachother, looking for an opportunity to strike with a witty quip or an epic ownage pwnage for absolutely no reason. nobody benefits. nobody's happy.
so why do it? why even do it
