im a competitive player but if i slave away for rank i'd rather play valorant because it has a consistent elo and a fair system for ranking up

csgo is defo not that i just play this game for fun and for fun clutches, its competitive to me but not because of the ranks, just the competitive nature of the game

I think there do be a distinction between playing for the competition and playing to flex your rank at people

i play once or twice a month because its fun and if i rank down or up thats ok it doesnt really matter

only annoying thing about high ranks is you play against tryhards and against people who payed for hacks and both of these options are exceptionally annoying

honestly everything's more fun down on gold nova or silver because random dumb shit happens all the time and then you can actually enjoy it with your mates.

downside there is people smurfing like crazy, its hard to win with cs go honestly. maybe mg1 is the peak rank, not many smurfs/hackers like in lower bracket, not many tryhards/hackers like in higher bracket.

You usually get a team that isn't extremely toxic and knows how to communicate.

Also, they have a great anti-cheat system so you rarely if ever meet cheaters. Also better servers.

i mean 90% of cs pros play with 400 dpi and use ingame sens to increase it

dpi is literally the amount of times a mouse checks for movement per second, which also syncs up with your mouses max performance. doubling your dpi makes a crazy difference on a good mouse.

high dpi, lower sens is always better; even if certain pros do it one way. you'll see this with old mice that look stuttery for seemingly no good reason.
