It could be something as simple as a fishing tournament or hanging out at Burger Shot, we want to ensure players can roleplay and have interactions without it being limited to times when doing a specific job.
Oh shit, just as a random thought I suppose, I know base game has wild animals and shit, maybe doing something for hunting could be cool, or maybe even farming to give more life to the non-city areas of the map. I know spreading people everywhere will make things less active in some parts, but it'd be fun to make some hick farmer character that rides a john deere tractor through the city and then tends fields back at the ranch or whatever.

Also sports? Specifically, dare I say... Bowling? Darts?

I wouldnt be surprised if they had both regular farming and weed farming for a job, considering theres multiple locations for both. great thing about gta rp is that the spread of people doesnt really matter since your jobs, heists and what-not will naturally rely on other people and push everyone towards some central locations, same with job zones and stuff

Actually on this note, @alex I do remember from watching some streams on NoPixel that they have animals and the like. Police K-9's, mountain lions, etc. This isn't - and I'd appreciate it if we could stay mature enough not to devolve a so far healthy and enjoyable conversation - a return to prior incidents, but could be interesting? I remember Strippin's K-9 character actually having some pretty fun story development, and was especially handy in foot chases or bank robberies. I feel like I also remember there being a rivalry between his character and another animal, maybe a cat or something, which was really fucking funny. Of course they didn't talk when humans were around, but it was pretty entertaining.

I dont see people playing as a K9 animal but I see there potentially being a script for it

The K-9 units being NPC's is certainly an interesting concept, how do you intend to have their handlers 'tag' players for attacking? Or is this just a ballpark idea currently that's too far down on the list to really worth thinking about right now, which tbf is pretty understandable.

theres scripts for a K9 for singleplayer. I believe you just aim at the target, tap a key and then it goes after them for those ones

Not something we've looked into at all but will likely be a case of the cop having a way to command the K-9 by pointing or something.

That sounds good, perhaps adding a bit of code for if someone attacks the handler somehow it tries to down them as a protection thing. Or maybe just if someone attacks a cop nearby them in general it auto-marks them.

really happy about the color blindness options !
even a lot of big games dont do this and it makes text and things with weird backgrounds really unpleasant to read or look at sometimes

although I think that pop-up interaction buttons should have a frame of some-sort, specifically at the very beginning of the Taxi video
