this, however, is not

It's a Lambda Apache AH64 deployed for the entire Eastern Europe area as air support, a remnant of Ramstein Airbase, the equivalent of a rare event character equipped with rockets from WW-2 up to 1999, and a vortigaunt attached helicopter cannon.

For goodness sake White Forest has a Mil Mi8, one Apache that has only appeared once is not gonna break someone's neck (yet)

I think both of these statements are correct.

You can redefine what the lore means for the server, just be sure to communicate it clearly where it's needed.

It's what I've been saying for several hours now but apparently it's a very unreasonable thing.

Apparently treating Combine players as people on the same level deserving of respect and fairness is absolutely out of the question for many. Even staff members, which is worrying.

that's the entire problem
one apache that exists for cameo events is not going to do anything outside of morale

something we can reasonably build, and use (infrequently) is leagues better than "oh look the military remnants are here!!!" LARPing

it's nice that you're trying with this, but we have zero counters to synths and it's more reasonable (and RP potential) to have something we can drop improvised bombs with than someone showing up with a crate full of disposable rockets.

what is it just running at them in a straight line in an open field

making itself a support and at the same time putting itself in a big disadvantage to be defeatable so it's not unfair would be the closest thing

the question should be: why did it come out with less damage received than when it was taking s2m potshots from far away and got hit by one or two vorts
