I know one was made before but I can't be fucked to crawl back through all these threads.

Post fashion related things; outfits, shoes, hair products, etc.

I've recently taken more consideration into my fashion sense going into this year. Probably because of actually having a decent enough income to afford nicer clothes and more complete outfits. One of my favourite outfits at the moment is something very similar to this.

Fragrances are something I've really been taking up too. One of my favourite, yet more costly ones is Tom Ford's Ombre Leather, but it's definitely worth the price. Dunhill do an amazing fragrance, ICON Absolute, which is a very nice, more daytime fragrance.

How about you guys?

winter makes it hard to find a good balance between practicality and looks
especially because i enjoy dressing quite smartly for things, i don't tend to wear t-shirts when going out anymore because they don't really compliment my shape that well, whereas a smarter shirt will look a lot better

a good medium is 'grandad collar' shirts, shirts that don't have the traditional around the neck collar for a tie, yet still button up like a regular shirt

North Face outlets always have some insanely good deals -- I got a coat from £480 down to £270 when I was last in one.

You're best investing in some accessories first, I find, as they tend to vary less from season to season. My first suggestion would be a good quality leather belt, which you can pair with most outfits -- Gucci GG (The non-interlocked variant) belts will become a classic, I'm sure.

Wouldn't be my personal go to, but it's pretty versatile and liked almost universally. Got the Gotham Goretex Jacket, dunno if they'll sell the same one I got as I think they renewed it for the new season.

Gucci as a brand has plenty of potential if you just avoid the very ostentatious pieces. It's not everyday wear, either.

got black Nuptse II myself, find the fixed jackets too restrictive

I could never see myself in Gucci, Versace or Louis Vuitton just because of the people who wear it unironically

Hypebeasts and those other freaks ruin good brands/clothing

It's very possible to wear it tastefully:

Versace you're probably right with, and it's been ruined by Donatella -- the new season made me cringe.

Now Virgil has moved to LV you can probably expect it to abandon any routes of formality, and while I think his new prices are absolutely absurd, I think he has done a good job so far at creating more interesting and less flashy pieces -- bar the LED Neon bag, but that's an exclusive iirc.

literally just wear £30-£70 items of clothing with the occasional price increase if its something i like

spending hundreds of pounds on casual clothing is absurd unless you are indubitably rich.

at the end of the day hardly anyone cares what you're wearing unless it's something flamboyant or outrageously mismatched. people are too focused on themselves

its pretty common for a decent jacket of a good make to be around £200 here

cost of living is high, so is the pay

I don't wear it for anyone else, I wear it because it makes me feel good and I want something that suits my body well. As they say, fashion is made for the tall and skinny.
