It's not because they have homosexual inclinations themselves. Arguably it's more of a visual cue or "pop" factor rather than "mmm lesbians", you get what I mean? Straight dudes find women sexually attractive. Straight dudes find women enjoying sex to be sexually attractive. Add another chick in the mix and you get double the fun. It's about the whole women thing, not the lesbianism itself.

I mean it's also literally impossible for a dude to be a lesbian, so you really cannot be sliding around on the scale being a cishet dude getting off to chicks smashing pasties.

Finding yourself normalized to homosexual behavior is entirely different than having homosexual feelings. Those are two entirely different concepts.

Such a case you're talking about is so rare it's negligible in terms of fighting homophobia. Like so rare and so negligible that it might as well be non existent. As Akulalalala and I pointed out, 99.99% of lesbian porn is geared toward straight men that is strictly fetishizing lesbian sex. Trans porn is exactly the same way and is probably worse in that regard.

Fetishizing homosexuality is almost as bad, if not as bad as outright homophobia. It's still fairly dehumanizing and treats the person/couple as objects rather than actual tolerance and respect for their orientation, lives, and the whole homosexual experience & culture.

it's honestly kind of interesting to see how homophobia is conducted in regards to the gender of the queer person in question

homophobia against gay men tends to be more open and violent, whereas homophobia towards gay women tends to be more insidious, maniuplative and understated (As a general rule, of course, both happens to both genders, but talking as a general trend here)

not that one is "worse or better" than the other, it's just interesting to see how it plays out. Both are equally bad for different reasons imo

despite the stereotypes I don't think I've ever met a Muslim (in person) who disrespected me or was hostile to me in any way because of who I was, hell, one of my roomates is Muslim and he's chill as fuck with me, a much better experience than I had with the wacko Catholics in the shitty one horse town I grew up in for sure. (Known some chill Christians too, not all are bad, yadda yadda)
