If you remember the Stuntick Fiesta Olympics hosted by The Emergents on rp_ineu_valley, then I am sure that you do not remember what happened to Orsted's won goods - because nobody but two people and me were around to witness it.
@Appetite Ruining Kebab had posted an RP doc thread that described how to contact Lambda sleeper agents in it's non-favorite child region of Romania, and that they were offering goods in exchange for Combine weapons, items of interest, and particularly hostages rescued from The Emergents. The hostage in question was pretty damn valuable.
So I went and contacted ARK on Steam, agreed on what time we'd connect to the server and start the rollenspiel. At that time, the UK was sleeping nice and sound because of how late it was. Timezone difference basically made the entirety of the map belong to me, so there was no fear of any opposition.
What I had to do was contact ARK's event character via radio. I did just that and was met with a character that was pretending to be some kind of prostitutes-for-hire-business-owning telephone operator, and I had to figure out which "numbers" I had to pick in order to convey what I was willing to exchange with Lambda. I came up with something along the lines of "Number Five - the most beautiful woman of Bucharest, Linda".
The whole reason why we had to keep up this show was because, by lore, Bucharest was something that Lambda would like to stay out of, primarily because of how ugly things there are in terms of politics and the humanitarian situation, but couldn't refuse from having some important Lambda figures rescued from the humanitarian shithole. Who the hostage was with me, I couldn't know - couldn't find out their gender, either. See picture for the explanation.
Orsted had won a Stalker from The Emergents' olympics.
We really didn't have any use for it.
But Lambda did.
The character on the radio then went on a little speech, talking about how Lambda had set up Stalker Rehabilitation Centers across the European region, and how it views each Stalker as a human despite their horrible disfigurations - how their gender pronouns are to be also respected.
What happened to the "pretending-to-be-not-Lambda", I don't know, but it was an interesting bit of information that I thought of to be useful in my real politiks™ with Lambda - my only source of Xen Crystals for my character's Gravity Gun.
I had a funny thought when I heard the last part, and I had attempted the following;

Also if anyone has the video of the time I unknowingly wiped a CP squad because my armour made me invisible, I've been trying to find that video again for ages.
