Thought of making a thread for the best HL2 mods played, WHY NOT? The best one's so far i've played:
Garry's mod - A true mod that is meant to be tried by everyone, you'll like it. Though I think you've already did that. 10/10 from my deepest corners of my heart.
Lambda Wars - (It was named before as Half-Life: 2 Wars.) A game that is a HL2 RTS, pretty darn good. I give it a 8.9/10 from my experience.
Human Error - A cool short mod. You take role as a Civil Protection Unit called Anders. You fight your way throught vortigaunts, alien grunts and alien controllers, with the help of The Combine. A great mod but it isn't sadly continued on anymore. I give it a 9.2/10 from episode 1.
Black Mesa - Awesome mod that recreates the classic HL1 game into a HD more looking one. A must try. (though the mod was free, now it's a standalone in steam for the purchase of 19.99€) From me and an obsession of Half-Life, I give it a nice 9.8/10. It would've been a 10/10 if Xen was there.
What HL2 mod did you play and thought it was awesome?
I really liked The Citizen, but can't install it on my current PC. You play as a rebel and it has light story elements. Sort of like the expansion packs for the original Half Life.
There was one that I played which continued the story of Shepherd, but I cannot remember what it's called.
Also, Crack Life for Half Life along with the randomiser mod for both games is hilarious if you want to check those out.
Lambda Wars is meh.
I enjoy playing RTS's against AI where I formulate my own story in my head. Sounds cheesy as fuck but I don't give a shit you speccy cunt.
My issue with Lambda Wars is that the AI is absolute shit.

Description: Probably one of the most original and atmospheric mod I've ever player: set in a decandent, cyberpunk future, you take the role of a korean girl living in the "North America Union" who, upon discovering to have pyrokinetic powers, takes on a quest for revenge against the society that destroyed her and her family's life. Unfortunatly, despite the best premises this mod was almost immediatly struck down by some major issues, one for all the extremely confusing level design, dozens of eye-gouging graphic filters (subsequent patches have added the option to remove them), textures that looks like covered in two centimeters of dust and unintellegible voice acting with no subtitles. The authoress however decided to remake the mod from scratch some years later in order to fix the problems and deliver the game as it was supposed to be, if you have patience you may be able to play the new version which hopefully will came out this year, otherwise you can try the previous version which is still aviable for download. Nightmare House 2:

Minerva, metastasis: Description: This mod doesn't have custom content or an original setting, despite that is one of the best mods I've ever played. More than a mod this is a playable showcase of what can be done with just hammer and a lot of skills and immagination, no more words needed.
