I mean, does perception rely on wisdom and investigation rely on intelligence .

A better question would be "Why bother with Investigation when you have Perception?"

Yes, Perception is linked to your Wisdom, while Investigation is linked to your Intelligence.
Your stat, for example "Wisdom", has influence on the bonus that you get from doing a "Perception"-Check.
Overall, when you do a Perception skill check, you add the modifier from your "Wisdom" ability and your Profficiency if you have one to the total of your dice throw.

Investigation. When you look araund for clues and
make deductions based on those clues. you make an
Intelligence (Investigation) check. You might deduce the
location of a hidden object, discern from the appearance
of a wound what kind of weapon dealt it, or determine
the weakest point in a tunnel that could cause it to
collapse. Poring through ancient scralls in search of
a hidden fragment of knowledge might also call for an
Intelligence (Investigalion) check.

Perception. Your Wisdom (Perception) check lets
you spot, hear, or otherwise detect the presence of
something. It measures your general awareness of
your surroundings and the keenness of your senses.

I'll sign up and see how you do.

My character sheet is here:

When you import it to roll20, you'll naturally need to input my values on equipment and other things, but something you should note is:

Purely as my character is primarily a lancer.

If backstories need writing, give me more time.

It's not an image, but this way you can edit it.

I'm available pretty much constantly, except before 6PM on weekends.
