DOOM 2016 is on a weekend sale, so I'm doing a raffle.
Enter by having the following in your post:

• Your Steam profile. If you don't want to post it publicly, send it in a convo.
• Something you like about Doom. It can be from a single game, or the series as a whole. Anything within the boundaries of forum rules and Blackquill's sense of decency goes, as long as it's about Doom.

The raffle will be done with one copy for each of the three days:

1. First copy, 15.11 (this Friday, aka today). Winner is @dallahan
2. Second copy, 16.11 (this Saturday). Winner is @Nicrobe
3. Third copy, 17.11 (this Sunday). Deadline and winner will be drawn 17:00 GMT+0

I like Doom‘s satisfying gore. I‘ve played the game on my Xbox One before and it was amazing. I also loved the Snapmap feature of DOOM 2016 where you could build your own maps.

i like the very fact that singleplayer campaign games can exist and thrive in this day and age of online multiplayer lootbox simulators and doom is a good example of this that i'd like to give a whirl

Doom 94 was the very first video game I've ever played in my life. So I can without a doubt in my heart quote Gavin for this; "Got molten metal in my veins~" Plus I'm enamoured by how much shit it got from the Christian community, when in fact the game's plot could not get more christian than it could have been. Who on heck doesn't want to pump lead into a cyber demon
