So... Before this is literally swarmed with memes, I'm curious as to who here plays Dungeons and Dragons.

I recently started playing 4th Edition with my friends, which we converted into 5th Edition after a lot of complaints.

I originally started as a Shardmind Psion, which took the Telepathy route.

If anyone plays it here, I guess just say what edition you play, what race and class you play and if you want, what setting you play in, if you have one that's pre-made.



Well, let's see how long this takes to drown in memes... I just hope it doesn't.

Once Ran a DM game with a couple of Custom Maps and Custom painted models,

Its fun for a few nights with friends really, Even ran an Halloween edition and that was a fucking glorious time before one of our players was gettting more absent than usual to the point we stopped playing for months

How much do you know? I'm only just starting with 5th and I'm beginning to play multiple games.

I'm currently trying to build a good Wizard or spell caster, and I'm not doing a great job atm.

If you're a starter, you're better off trying it out as a Fighter as they're more simplified and easy to learn, Wizards are generally weak in a low level at the early game, and require another player to keep him alive occasionally, from what I heard.

The books I got are the DM guide and the Monster book, Strength is like your bonus damege in your fights, the D20 is your dice you roll 90% of the time, other dices are Based on weapons/classes too,

Btw I'd write a Script in the Google docs to run a good storyline in any events as DM, makes it easier to describe stuff off he paper and improvise on alternative routes.

Nah, I know how to play and stuff. I'm just struggling to make a a good Wizard build. I'm fine with everything else, really.

they may not be professional but its not like theyve just been dipped in a tin of one colour and left like that, no need to be so rude

but on-topic I play a lot of 5e with my friends and have a lot of fun.
current list of characters are: human male fighter who's an aspiring knight and very chivalrous (m'lady is a common phrase in his vocab etc)
human male rogue whos a straight up thief, currently stranded on a remote island after a shipwreck. his skills arent of much use, he cant lock-pick his way across an ocean
and my most recent character is a tiefling male fighter who's a pirate
honestly if id known how good tieflings were id have made one a while ago, they start with the thaumaturgy cantrip which is really good, and they got more spells pretty early on too

I haven't played DnD but I have played W40k and the models there look ALOT better, even when made by amateurs like me (I can show a pic when I'm back in sweden). But perhaps the standards are alot lower in DnD, sorry for coming out as rude, didn't mean to.
