I'm not very good when it comes to building PC's and stuff and if you are going to help please do ensure you treat me like an autistic four year old and point out /exactly/ what I will need to buy to actually make a functioning pc (Wires, cables etc too)

But yes! I'm in the market for a new PC, my budget is about £600-£700 (Can go slightly up) and I'm having no luck finding anything worth buying, so - any help is appreciated!

I recommend going for a AMD GPU since it's a budget PC and investing a bit more money into a intel CPU.
I personally have a r9 380x and a i5 4590 on the PC i built last year, but you can probably upgrade r9 380x to a r9 390 or a rx 480, and the CPU for something better. And possibly a 1151 socket CPU, since imo the better CPUs on the market rn aren't 1150 anymore I might've mistaken because it's a while when i looked at that

Your budget is incredibly low. What are your current specs, you're probably going to have to make do buying upgrades for your most crappy parts and using the better ones you own.

It isn't that bad, he can sell parts he already owns and knows that he'll be replacing for extra monies and reuse parts that don't really need to be upgraded (ie 8 gigs of ram) or case, etc. If needed you can also buy second hand parts.

so, @Stalker what are your current specs?

budget should atleast be 1000 gbp so you can get something decent that lasts for a few year

no reason building a PC that will not work on games that comes out in a year or so

Try getting your budget around 1300 pounds.
It's better to just wait a bit longer than to buy a semi decent computer and still have problems.
Cause eventually you'll just upgrade again and in the long run waste more money with this semi decent computer.

I have a PC that I built almost 6 years ago for 2000 USD (or 1600 Pounds) and it still runs modern games at 60 FPS. The only thint I've changed is my SSD and power supply because I forgot to hook up a fan and it overheated.

Just save up for a really good build so you don't need to buy a new PC every year. I understand if you don't roll in the big bucks like Roosebud, but if you put away some money each month for a c001 c0m4u73r it'll be worth it.

e: wowee everyone else said the same thing

1300 pounds.
I don't know if I can commit that sort of money into it, though, I mean I'm a dude on minimum wage and earn like £11,000 a year~ until I find a full time job. I can't spend 10% of everything I earn a year onto that, I've been saving up this £700~ for nearly a year and a bit as it is ; - ;

My £600 custom built PC has had a power outage and broke for 10 months, after I got it fixed I spilt milk all over it through the top and only needed compressed air to reboot it, also the fan I have is shitty but it gets the job sone, just don't stay on linger than 13 hours or it will overheat.
built by www.computerplanet.com
called the XBLADE case I think with AMD processor and a shit fan
i can run gmod at 50-100fps with commands
i can run killing floor 2 at a good 50fps
i can also run CSGO, highest graphics and model settings with 0 bloom like 300fps (equivalent to 60fps, anyway performs fucking mint) with no commands

Old AMD four core processor, gtx 960 and 16 gigs of new ram I brought a month ago~
the gtx 960 could net you like 50 - 60 quid, sellin the motherboard and cpu as well if they aren't utter shit could give you optimistically another 100 quid to spend
tho I don't really know what I'm talking about really, the whole big budget thing doesn't seem that valid when you can get an kabylake cpu and a 1080 for around 700 quid give or take

dunno what u guys are on about, his budget isn't 'INCREDIBLY LOW'
he's not gonna get a beastly rig but he can get a rig that can run pretty much anything at 60fps at the very least, trust me.
