Overwiki and Wikipedia actually never mention the term “Universal Union” for their respective Combine pages, at least in the English versions.

Oracle text is the modern standardization of rules text in Magic cards. The card you just posted predates that standardization.

Not really. It's been long since standardized to read as:

Whenever Floral Spuzzem attacks and isn't blocked, you may destroy target artifact defending player controls. If you do, Floral Spuzzem assigns no combat damage this turn.

listen all I'm saying is as someone who used to make custom magic cards (and even custom ones for HL2RP stuff) seeing cards out of format makes my skin crawl...

probably doesn't help that I was a tournament judge for Magic at one point so like, knowing rules text formatting is chiseled into my brain

man had a card called Jamie, Legion, but the rest of the card text just referred to it as Jamie
