Right. So, I've got £50 on my steam wallet and I have no idea what to spend it on. Any suggestions?

Some info on me:
  • I like games which don't require too much dedication into them
  • I LOVE RPGs
  • I really like open world games
  • I prefer games set in a modern/future era rather than medieval
  • I enjoy both 1st and 3rd person games
  • I like games which can be challenging but at the same time fun
  • My favourite game series are: Fallout, The Elder Scrolls and Total War
Pop some suggestions below and I'll check them out. Thank you for your help.

UPDATE: Refunded Arma and I have £50 now. Still looking for suggestions lads.

Total War: Warhammer
I have been looking at Warhammer recently. However, I've never really gotten into the Warhammer series as a whole therefore I'm still on the fence about it.

If you haven't played Dark Souls or FO: New Vegas, which you probably have, maybe try this older game:

Vampire - The Masquerade: Bloodlines
The lore is great and it fits the edgy gothic setting of modern LA

$22.00 on Steam
[4/5 - Metacritic] [4.9/5 - GOG.com] [8.4/10 - IGN]

Pre-Order Infinite Warfare, but don't play it. Only play that sweet COD4 remastered
Don't buy into their trap of buying their shit in some horrible bundle. Either wait for it to be standalone or just don't buy it.
It's only a few more graphics to be honest and some maps, we already got those maps from other DLCs in mw2 and mw3.
It also looks just like mw2.

If you're not a loser, you'll like Darkest Dungeons.

That us, if you're not a loser. I got it for like 20-30 bucks, still on sale.

Personally I'd wait to see the outcome of Total War: Warhammer if you're interested.

Don't buy Homefront revolution, or if you really want to then have a look at a few gameplay videos first, especially devildoggamers vid.

Might this tickle your fancy?

Also a Dev from Fallout worked on this as well, so I don't know if that's something that you might wanna look into.

If you don't mind the current character creation menu, micromanaging, the Alien Wasteland Incident, and dark humor, then I would recommend this great game for you.

Created by InXille Studios (Who created the original Wasteland, the spiritual predecessor of Fallout), Wasteland 2 is a post-apocalyptic, 3rd person RPG going on steam for around forty bucks. I'd recommend it to anyone, but then again this isn't really a game for everyone. So just check it out before you make a decision.

I'd also recommend games like the Baldur's Gate series or Pillars of Eternity. Baldur's gate being a classic example of a fantasy RPG and PoE for being a much more... modern version of BG with a very unique and interesting world.

Everytime someone mentions this game, someone will reinstall it. Fuck.

You'll likely need some fan-patches to fix it up but the game has such a massive modding community even after twelve years. It's actually based on a tabletop game of the same name (Vampire: The Masquerade) That ran from 1992 - 2004 and then again from 2012 as the 20th anniversary updated version that wasn't stick in 90's cringe.

The lore is amazing though.
