Modelling Union Medical (UM) Uniforms

Yo. Currently I main for Union Medical over on Half-Life 2: RP, and our uniforms suck shit. I would like to change that so that they resemble actual uniforms used in the medical field.

My idea is for Clinical Workers (CW), Medical Specialists (MS), and Registered Nurses (RN) to wear the same scrubs (maybe like a teal?), while Physicians (Dr), the Head Clinician (HC), Assistant Clinic Director (ACD), and the Clinic Director (CD) to wear the same scrubs (possibly black?) and a lab coat.

Colors and meaning may change, who knows, I'm open to any and all comments, criticisms, etc., especially from the UM staff.

My plan is to make the models for the uniforms myself. Sculpting? Rigging? Bump maps? Texture? Who the fuck knows what those are? Because I certainly don't - but through this process I hope to learn. I'll be posting updates as I go along with it.

Good news! I've learned how to import a cube from Blender to Garry's Mod - albeit without textures. Still need to figure that out. I can already smell the iodine off the fuckin' scrubs.​

I would love to see UM get proper uniforms that aren't just retextured citizen clothes. I would suggest taking inspiration from the models UIL has. Also: White lab coats and light blue scrubs for Physician and up, light green for everyone else. A pastel color pallet to make UM feel more welcoming to the patients

Ideally how it would be implemented is that definitely Physicians+ get lab coats for easier recognition for both staff, patients, and authorities. I personally really enjoy teal and sea-green shades as they are some of my favorite colors along with corals, and you are right in that lighter pastels offer a more welcoming environment; however I thought of black as a rather distinct and authoritative choice. Of course hopefully by the end of this there is simply a range of different variations for each citizen model available so that Union Medical and Server Management can decide what to use.

edit: currently I am visiting my significant other's home for the night and won't be able to work on anything tonight or for most of tomorrow. Not only that, but I'm having issues with getting HL2 .mdl files to decompile for use in Blender. My plan is to get something shopped up for Male 07 and Female 02 just to show off, and then continue from there for the rest of the vanilla models as well as the Enhanced Beta, Black Mesa, etc. etc. models.

I still suggest using light green for C.W. -> R.N. and light blue(male)/lavender(female) for Physician+
That being said: It's your project, but as someone who used to work in UM, I advise against using dark colors
