tho technically we lasted longer than the vanilla server so that's good

I might reopen the server when exams are over (late December/early January) but nothing is final

ftb has many more current mods

fps should be fine as it's a dedicated server with at least 8gbs of ram, just be wary you need at least 8 yourself

e: might take a few days to get set up though, the package I'm gunning for sold out and they need another delivery. It has 16gb of ram for the same price, so it should be worth the wait.

It's an all rounder option. Tekkit is very forced in terms of how you progress; FTB (more specifically, FTB Beyond) gives you more ways to play and more things to do.
