Corsair is great, but honestly Thermaltake isn't bad, it's pretty solid
Was it not 80+ @Clokr ?
I was just way too tired and forgot to plug in my monitor to access it if I could
It was about $80 yeah
No, that wasn't my question, I was asking if it had the 80+ certification, like these ones:
Ah, I’ll have to check once I finish my coffee and smoke. I’ll tag you once I get it
I just checked @Señor Jaggles
It got just the 80+ white one. Not any of the other coded ones
I just ordered a Corsair PSU. Hopefully this one won’t be DOA. And I made sure this one was 80+ and it is, it’s 80+ gold
It shouldn't be too bad, honestly, I believe you just got unlucky and that's it - Haven't heard much or any complaints about Thermaltake.
Shit happens I guess.
I likely wouldn’t have had any complaints with it if it had worked lmao.
But yeah, it sucks. Atleast the one I just ordered is fully modular
That's great dude
Okay so new PSU arrived, plugged it in and put all cords in. Tried to turn it on and it did the same thing. Except now I hear a clear beep.
Maybe the MOBO is fucked?
What's the pattern of the beep, one long beep?
I just went to my local repair shop. Guy there said everything is in the right place and good. But the mobo is shorted.
Likely what happened was my friend forgot to discharge and touched the board. And made it short itself.
Looks like I’m without a computer until I can get it sent back and replaced
Ouchies, big mistake
I’m disappointed that it’s shorted. But my friend said he’ll order me a new one and do it properly this time in a spot he’s got dedicated to settin shit up in.
So I’ll still be without a PC till Monday when the new MOBO arrives
Not a long wait, then, pretty nice
