Playtest - Day 2 feedback

Thanks devs for extending the playtest for an hour. It was loads of fun.

I'm wondering if in the future we might get a week playtest where we can play all day for a week? Much alike the Dark and Darker playtest sessions they've been doing.

Even with some of the bugs that are in the game currently I think it's awesome to play and interact with other people. I wish we could get this sooner.

Honestly we'd rather push for release, the playtest is very stress inducing haha

I had a lot of fun playing today stealing cop cars, getting into chases and such.

I went out to try fishing this time around and found out that it's actually a waste of time since it barely makes any profit compared to other jobs, especially delivery driver. Each fish costs around 35~ dollars and you are already losing a third of your profits because each bait costs 10$ and not to mention the gas prices on top of everything else, it just doesn't seem like a viable way to earn money at all. Fishing would be more viable if the fish prices were increased by quite a bit. The minigame is so much more fun and engaging than just standing idly and waiting for a fish though, I really liked it!

How much DOES delivery driver/garbage trucker make? I only played on taxi Wednesday, and also noticed that the fares weren’t out of this world, same as you experienced with the fishing. Makes me wonder if there is a MASSIVE difference between payouts.

Holy shit.

I picked up a taxi fare and literally chased a fire truck around the city for a solid amount of time and it was 60$. Feels like the fishing and taxi needs a little scale up, and the delivery a biiiig scale down.

Feel like there shouldn’t be a “best” job otherwise that’s the only thing everyone will do (not including player created jobs/businesses of course since those can actually compete). Would just mean there are only delivery drivers all da time.

Who plays the Elvis Cop? I fucking domed you after stealing @Northgate ambulance. Unfortunately @Jamie was a better shot, but I got my own back against @Jaydawg & @Jamie in the cells ^_^

12 Crates on an optimal route takes me approximately 16 minutes for 3,000.

An easy $9,000 an hour when you account for stopping for food and piss breaks etc.

A good balance would be to have a multiplier on your income for your first 5 hours of gameplay (and naturally from that point forward reduce delivery jobs to approximately $500 per 5 minutes spent on the job, so $500 for 4 packages, $1000 for 8 and $1500 for 12), or simply increase the amount given in your automatic government paychecks for the first 5-20 hours, so that people can buy their first car, stock up on food and begin to participate in stuff without too much of an early game grind.

On this same note it seems that the UI lacks a number for the stack, so I almost shanked a local general store owner because I was under the impression he was scamming me when in reality my 4 bottles of water stacked on each other without me realising.
