I just wanted to show my setup because I like it :) When I first came here I was running on a 2010 acer laptop with a smashed screen hooked up to a 4:3 screen. Averaged 2 FPS on I17.
Also I live in a shoebox (moving soon yay) so I have managed to make do with the smallest desk I could find.
Peripherals:
Desk: Ikea Micke with the drawer removed for legroom
Chair: Drummer's stool off ebay, I found it encourages me to sit upright and change my seating position- Also gets me off my arse when I get uncomfortable, lets me know I need to get off my PC
Ball-Cooling Fan: Noctua NF-A20 200mm case fan, 5v USB version with grills. Doubles as a heater in winter pushing hot air from my PC out because the Pop Silent runs hella hot
Mic: Shure SM57
Headphones: Beyerdynamic DT990 250 ohm, industry standard and open back means I can hear the crackheads arguing outside while I boot up Condemned Criminal Origins for extra immersion
Mouse: Zowie S2-C
Keyboard: Keychron V4 with red switches, 60% for more mouse space on my comically small desk. Way better than anything I've tried from logitech or razer
Audio Interface: Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 2nd Gen
Monitor: Gigabyte M27Q Rev. 2. Game-Changer for playing Squad and DayZ, QHD is so much better for spotting. Did have an MSI 1080p 144hz monitor as a secondary on an arm but it took up too much room
Specs:
Put together in 2020 for the internals mostly
Case: Fractal Pop Silent
Case Fans: 3x Noctua NF-A12x25
Graphics Card: Gigabyte 2070 Super 3x fan
CPU: Ryzen 3600
CPU Cooler: Nocuta NH-U12A (Massively Overkill for my CPU but I'll be taking it into every build I make)
RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3200Mhz, 4x8GB
Motherboard: MSI X570 A-PRO (Worst part of the build, didn't do enough research on the importance of a good Mobo. VRMs run very hot)
Storage: Solidigm P44 Pro 2TB NVME
PSU: Seasonic Focus Platinum 650W Fully Modular (Also going into future builds)
